Set out on a clean soffit with chalk line markings measured at a 1200 mm x 600 mm rectangle (size of a Energylite batt). Additional markings to be made 300 mm away from opposite edges with a centre line at 300 mm through the short edges.

Place two pins at the points of interception on the centre line and make two markings through the holes of each pin for drilling. Remove the pins and drill into soffit at a suitable depth for anchor screws.

Place pins on soffit, push in the anchor screws and hammer in securely. Impale the Energylite® batts on the pins and lock in with the washers without excessive pressure to avoid compression of the insulation batt.
